Oakdene Nurseries

Has been open since 1945 it is open to both the public and the wholesale market. It is a family run business that has had 3 generations of horticulturalists managing the site with a vast amount of knowledge and experience. They grow up to 90% of their plants on site. There is a wide range of plants to purchase including shrubs, herbaceous perennials, alpine plants, trees and hedging material plus a huge variety of seasonal bedding and vegetable plants. All of the plant stock come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit any budget. We can cater for gardening businesses that want to get the best deal for regular or bulk purchases.

Oakdene Nurseries is not a garden centre, they are a plant nursery serious about growing, selling and advising customers in all areas of the garden. Their plants are grown in their own blended peat free compost.

Oakdene Nurseries is set on just under 5 acres of oak woodland and fruit orchard behind house number 51 on the Chester Road. 

Don’t be fooled by the entrance we have plenty of parking at the back of the house and plenty of plants and gardening products for you to see and purchase.
